Junior Mentee
Program Application

Young women ranging from 7th – 10th grade students may apply to participate in the Women Who Succeed program. In preparation for joining the mentorship program starting in 11th grade, this group will have the opportunity to attend monthly workshops and network with their peers and female leaders in Utah.
This free program includes access to workshops, networking opportunities, and a Women Who Succeed curriculum workbook, containing curriculum designed to build self-confidence, develop skills, and begin the pathway college and career readiness. Along with the monthly workshops combined with the mentees and special guest speakers, there is a junior mentee meeting that happens each month to go over these topics with all junior mentees in a large ‘mentorship’ group session with the Women Who Succeed team.
Applications for the 2026-2027 junior mentee program are due by August 31, 2026.

Requirements

Young women who apply must: 

  • Be in 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th grade students in Utah for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Commit to monthly participation for the full 9-month term (August 2026 – May 2027)
  • Participate in virtual monthly workshops via Zoom
    • Junior Mentee Mentorship Meetings: Held on the first Tuesday of every month from 6-7pm
    • Monthly Workshops with Mentees: Held on the third Wednesday of every month from 6-7pm
  • Complete monthly workbook activities, such as: journaling prompts, reflection activities, goal setting, etc
