A Note from Erin,

We are absolutely thrilled to share with you that our very own Mallory Santa Cruz is being recognized by Utah Business’ “30 Women to Watch”. I’m sure you are all aware of this esteemed recognition by Utah Business as this inspirational event celebrates women who are on their way to truly amazing things! There were over 500 nominations, and Mallory was rightly selected as one of this year’s “30 Women to Watch”!

We’d also like to recognize three women who were featured in Utah Business for the month of March. McKenzie Bauer, her journey as Co-founder of Thread Wallets, Sidni L. Shorter CEO of the Year Honoree, and Rachelle Morris, Managing Director of RevRoad Capital in a Round Table of Venture Capital – WOW, so impressed by all of you!

We are looking forward to seeing you all on May 20th for the Women Who Succeed 2023 Conference! You were all sent Eventbrite links this week to register. If you are a Mentor, please be there at 1:00 pm to hear the required information with your mentee. If you are not a Mentor this year, please be there at 2:00 pm for meaningful roundtable discussion break-out rooms. Then we will all gather and hear from Kathi Garff and Dr. Georgi Rausch from the School of Business, followed by a social with appetizers.

Mentee Feature: Alaya Lopez and Reece Richardson

Our member Lizzy Solies has two amazing mentees: Alaya Lopez and Reece Richardson. Alaya is a junior at Utah Valley University studying dental assisting. She is also one of our college-age mentors, so she is a mentor to 3 of our high school mentees as well. Reece is a senior at Weber State University studying medical radiologic technology. Both of these mentees are fantastic and even sat with Lizzy and Women Who Succeed during the We HEAR Her podcast. Check out their episode in the tab below to learn more about them and get a glimpse at their bright futures!
